3 Sessions | $800 ($600 album credit)

The most popular option for expectant parents wanting to document their baby's first year of milestones. Members receive 3-4 SIGNATURE SESSIONS within an 18-month period, savings on their session fees, 25 complimentary birth announcements + an album credit for those option to purchase artwork. 

For each session, the complete digital gallery is $1,200, or clients who create an artwork collection of $2,500 or more receive their complete digital gallery as our gift.

Maternity Signature Session

$400 session fee

The session fee includes your planning appointment, wardrobe and styling, professional hair and makeup for Mom, and your fully guided portrait session.

Afterward, you'll choose only what you love. The complete digital gallery is $1,200, or clients who create an artwork collection of $2,500 or more receive their complete digital gallery as our gift.

Cedar Falls Maternity Photography FAQs

When should I schedule my maternity photos?

Most maternity sessions take place between approximately 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. At this point, your bump is typically beautifully defined while you're still comfortable enough to move between poses and wardrobe changes.
Every pregnancy is different, though. We'll help you choose the right timing based on your due date, whether you're expecting multiples and how you're feeling.
Because maternity sessions need to happen within a relatively specific window, I recommend reaching out well before your third trimester whenever possible.

What should I wear for maternity photos?

You don't have to figure that out alone.
Our clients receive personalized styling assistance and access to our studio wardrobe, which includes pieces selected specifically because they flatter expecting mothers and photograph beautifully.
During your planning appointment, we'll choose your wardrobe together and coordinate clothing for your partner and children if they're participating.

Can my partner and children join the maternity session?

While we make sure to create beautiful photographs focused on Mom, partners are encouraged to participate. We'll create photographs of you individually, together and—if you have older children—as a family.
Including older siblings can create some of the most meaningful photographs from a maternity session because we're documenting their transition, too.
We'll help coordinate their wardrobe and create a mix of family portraits, sibling-and-bump photographs and portraits centered on Mom.



Where do maternity photography sessions take place?

Most maternity sessions take place in our photography studio on University Avenue in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
The studio allows us to create a variety of looks without worrying about Iowa weather and gives you easy access to our wardrobe and other amenities.
Select outdoor or on-location maternity sessions may also be available depending on the look you're envisioning.

Should I book maternity and newborn photos together?

If you know you want both, yes.
Planning maternity and newborn photography together allows us to create visual continuity between the two sessions and tell a fuller story—from waiting for your baby to finally holding them in your arms.
