It happens without even realizing it, and then the moment is gone. You want to remember the nose-to-nose kisses, the belly laughs, the tickles. Capture those moments big and small.

Every parent knows that time flies, and before you know it, your precious little one is celebrating their first birthday. From the very first time they smiled, held their head up, rolled over, to the moment they sat up for the first time, you've witnessed and savored these incredible milestones.
But, before you can blink, it seems the milestone has passed and you're on to anticipating the next one. You can’t get these moments back. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Our milestone photography sessions are designed so that you don't have to worry about missing your favorite moments again. In fact, we encourage you to be a part of these photos because they love seeing you in photos just as much as you love seeing them.
The most popular option for expectant parents wanting to document their baby's first year of milestones. Members receive 3-4 SIGNATURE SESSIONS within an 18-month period, savings on their session fees, 25 complimentary birth announcements + an album credit. Album Credit applies

Absolutely! In fact, I would consider myself more of a family-focused photographer. During your milestone, I’ll spend the first 30 minutes of your session photographing your baby and capturing this unique season. For the remainder of your session, I will focus on each individual connecting with the baby and photographing all the groupings that follow.
You can add on a smash cake for $40 from one of our preferred bakers. Christie Bakes Cakes makes a petite 4” stacked, naked cake that our clients LOVE! It’s beautiful and it tastes good too. If you’re looking for a larger smash cake, Bambinos offers a 6” round, naked cake that is equally as beautiful.
Because we focus on creating timeless portraits, we do not recommend bringing props. Instead, if you have a special outfit or accessory you’d like to bring, that is welcome. For 1st birthday sessions, you are welcome to bring a cake topper. We recommend ones that are simple and just say “one” or “1”.
Milestone sessions last up to 1.5 hours but are usually shorter. If you’ve added on a cake smash, we will spend the last 10 minutes of your session doing the cake smash. After I’ve taken individual photos of the baby eating the cake, I’ll invite you and the rest of the family to sit with the baby while they dig in. Past parents have really enjoyed being in some of the cake smash photos.
Milestone sessions are offered on weekdays from 9am-2pm. We recommend moms come alone for their hair and makeup time slot and that dad brings the rest of the children once mom is done being pampered. Outdoor sessions take place on select weeknights and are booked 3 hours before sunset.
Our most popular choice among expecting parents is the First Year Baby Plan. The first-year baby plan is a collection of 3-4 sessions, and we reserve a limited number of spots for baby plan members each year. We recommend booking sooner than later if this interests you. By booking the First Year Baby Plan, you will save on session fees and you’ll receive an album credit at each ordering appointment that can be used toward building your baby’s first-year album.
Our most popular milestones are maternity, newborn & first birthday. Otherwise, if you’re not planning to do a maternity session, most families choose newborn, 6 months, and 1st birthday. If you know that you want to remember all the milestones, we recommend maternity, newborn, 6 month, and 1st birthday OR newborn, 4 months, 8 months, and 1st birthday.
