Learn about when Meghan first discovered her passion for photography.
Meghan’s love for photography began in high school when she received her first camera as a gift from her parents. She took her first job as a secondary shooter for a well known wedding photographer in her hometown. She quickly fell in love with capturing moments and memories, and spent countless hours experimenting with different techniques and styles. In college, Meghan studied mechanical engineering at Georgia Tech but continued to enjoy photography on the side. When Meghan and Joe welcomed their firstborn into the home, Meghan resigned from her engineering career to stay home. Little did she know that couple years later she would turn her hobby into a career. Today, she is proud to be one of the few full service photographers in Cedar Falls, and is dedicated to helping her clients by providing them with an effortless portrait experience and tangible memories to be enjoyed for generations.
Meghan’s commitment to creating tangible keepsakes
Meghan’s passion for photography goes just beyond taking beautiful pictures. She believes in the importance of creating tangible keepsakes that her clients can cherish for years to come. This value was instilled in her as a child because her mother believed in documenting and preserving every moment. The walls of Meghan’s childhood home were filled with frames and told their family’s story over the decades.
So, whether it’s a family portrait, a newborn session, or an extended family gathering, Meghan puts her heart and soul into every photo she takes, ensuring that each image tells a unique story. She understands that these moments are fleeting and that having a physical reminder of them can be incredibly meaningful. That’s why she takes great care in selecting the highest quality materials for her prints and albums, so that her clients can enjoy their memories for generations to come.
