A First Year Baby Plan Newborn Session

At the newborn session, it’s almost impossible to imagine how quickly this little person will change. Soon they’re smiling back at you, sitting up, reaching for you, taking their first steps—and becoming more themselves with every passing month.
For this family, the story began before their son was even born. We documented the waiting during their maternity session, then the newborn days, and continued photographing him every six months through 18 months.
Looking back, it isn’t only his growth you can see. It’s theirs, too. The way he fits into their arms changes. His personality begins to emerge. The way they play and connect evolves as he does.
That’s what I love about documenting the first year and beyond. Each session preserves a milestone, but together, the photographs tell a much bigger story: who your family was as this tiny baby became your little boy.
Your baby will change. Your family will, too. Let’s remember it all.
